Pico Velásquez is a computational architect, Metaverse visionary and entrepreneur. Her career spans in architecture and mathematics with a Master’s in Computational Design with the highest distinction from Harvard University.

Over the past 10 years Pico has directed prominent multimedia projects around the world including leading the geometry for Google’s new headquarters in CA at Bjarke Ingels Group, the multimedia memorial "Elysium" for Guy Laliberté (founder of Cirque du Soleil), Samsung’s Social Galaxy with Kenzo Digital, the new Seminole Hard Rock Casino & Hotel‘s Oculus, and the multiplayer environmentalist video game Superforest. Her data-driven designs bridge physical and virtual worlds with mega structures, brand experiences, buildings of the future, video games, blockchain/crypto platforms, and NFT art.

As the founder and CEO of VIIRA, Pico seeks to integrate new and existing companies to the Metaverse through virtual experiences, NFTs, and DeFi. Foressing that the future is 3D, and that the Metaverse will be built for everyone by everyone, VIIRA Creator Studio will play a role in democratizing its creation and empower every user to become a creator.

Pico is an advisor for multiple Fortune 500 companies and startups on their Metaverse vision and strategy, serves as a mentor for Web3 incubators including Intel Ignite and Harvard, and is part of the World Economic Forum's Defining and Building the Metaverse Initiative and Global Future Council for AR/VR.

As an international speaker, Pico has presented keynotes and panels on the Metaverse & AI at SXSW, Forbes 30/50 Summit, Women’s Economic Forum, Blockchain Futurist Conference, Global Metaverse Forum, Dubai Future Forum, Twin Global, NFT.NYC among others.
