Alastair bridges the gap between the creative industries, digital arts, and academia. Juggling his time between a PhD in Architecture at Liverpool University, a Creative consultant at AmazeRealise and pursuing a technology arts practice with Meyouandus, a company he founded with James Bailey.

At the heart of everything is his desire to bring artistic and creative experiences into the fabric of society and into people’s everyday lives and interactions.

The last 18 months have seen Alastair lead the Fantasia Express, commissioned by the UK Department of Transport. The project re-imagines train journeys. Using Augmented Reality and locative media to connect passengers to the locations they pass by. The prototype was publicly trialed by LNER on the East Coast mainline during April 2019.
