Founder and CEO of XREAL (formerly Nreal), Chi Xu has previously worked at NVIDIA as a software engineer. In 2017, he moved back to Beijing from the U.S. and founded XREAL.

With Chi Xu’s strategic vision, XREAL has developed its flagship mixed reality glasses Light, accompanied by XREAL's self-developed 3D system Nebula, which has received extensive positive responses during CES 2019 & 2020 for its sleek form factor and impressive image quality.

Chi received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University and later a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
