Siva Boggala is a Senior Director for AR/VR software in Samsung Research America. He has 20+ years of experience in mobile technologies. Currently Siva is leading teams in 3D Avatar (AR Emoji), face and body tracking technologies, stereoscopic rendering, 6-DoF/3-DoF head, controller and hand tracking technologies. He led teams across full stack of mobile technologies from boot loaders to UX/UI applications for Samsung’s Android phones/tablets/watches, Windows Mobile phones, Symbian and feature phones. During his 16+ years in Samsung, Siva was involved in the development of 3D Graphics, System Software, Multimedia Technologies, IP Multimedia Subsystem (SIP/SDP/RTP/RTCP/GSMA) and modem protocol stacks. Siva holds a Masters in Computer Science from Andhra University and Bachelors in EE from Osmania University.
