Over the last 5 years, Maryam Sabour has been shaping the future of the real-world Metaverse at Niantic. She heads Business Development for Niantic’s AR Platform and Headset Partnerships.  Maryam was previously a two-time founder, venture capitalist, and strategy consultant working with early-staged emerging technology companies, with a focus on AR/VR.  Her clients have spanned the film, gaming and advertising industries. Maryam is also an attorney, having attained a Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University, as well as, a Bachelor of Commerce with distinction from Ryerson University. Her unique background combining law and entrepreneurship enables her to strategize, launch and scale innovative products and businesses with an emphasis on ethics and creating real-world positive impact.
