As SVP, Virtual Reality at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Jake Zim oversees global virtual reality production and strategy for the motion picture group. Zim has produced a wide variety of interactive projects across the spectrum of distribution channels, including location-based, free-roam, and in-home. He has been instrumental in the development of virtual reality experiences such as Spider-Man: Homecoming VR, Ghostbusters: Dimensions, The Emoji Movie VR Experience, and many others. Zim also works across business units to develop partnerships with technology and production companies in the emerging immersive entertainment space, such as THE VOID, IMAX VR, and Madison Wells Media Immersive.
