Christian Guirnalda leads Verizon's 5G Labs across NY, LA, DC, Cambridge, and SF which focus on educating and engaging innovators to build next generation experiences through Verizon's 5G Incubator. Prior to this role, he was a part of Verizon Ventures where he invested in early stage companies, funds, and accelerators. He also worked at a journalism startup, Patch, which disrupted hyperlocal news and was acquired by the Huffington Post as well as IBM as a strategy consultant for the TMT sector. Christian received a double major from Carnegie Mellon in Computing Technology and Manufacturing Management as well as an MBA from the University of Michigan.
