Karl Guttag has 45 years of experience in Graphics and Image Processors, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), memory architecture, display devices (LCOS and DLP), and display systems, including Heads Up Displays and Near Eye Display (AR and VR). He was a CPU, graphics, image processor, and DRAM architect at Texas Instruments and became the youngest TI fellow. After leaving TI, he was the CTO of three startups working on display devices and systems.
Since 2011, he has been writing the blog KGOnTech (www.kguttag.com), which analyses display devices and systems with a focus on Augmented reality.
He is a named inventor on 150 issued U.S. Patents. Billions of dollars of yearly revenue have been attributed to products using these inventions.
