Steve Lukas is a Director of Product Management for Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.'s XR business group, where he manages the technical areas of Developer Relations for Qualcomm’s Augmented Reality ecosystem.

Steve has over 8 years of experience in the XR industry starting with investment diligence at Qualcomm Ventures, before running his own AR/VR startup working on cross-platform and spectator mode technologies. In 2018 he joined Magic Leap, managing their developer ecosystem in both Consumer and Enterprise sectors. While there, he drove the development and release of the MRTK plug-in for Magic Leap to the open source community. Working alongside other XR industry experts, he co-edited the O'Reilly publication "Creating Augmented and Virtual Realities" in 2019.

Steve has a Bachelor's in Visual Arts from the University of California San Diego and a Master's in Computer Science from San Diego State University
