Tony Hodgson is co-founder / CEO of Ethar, Inc., an engineering and scientific firm developing XR solutions for enterprise applications, including Ethar™, a platform for intelligent discovery, management, and monetization of AR/VR experiences. Tony began his career supporting NASA and commercial space engineering programs, then became a product development and sales lead for Verizon where he also founded the wearable computing and augmented reality marketing program. As a tech entrepreneur, Tony started and grew several software development firms, then led development of Brainwaive LLC, a global advisory on AR/VR, AI, digital twins, and spatial computing. Tony is former director of one of the largest technology incubators in the US and has chaired multiple global initiatives to develop open, interoperable, and secure AR/VR solutions. He has authored over 150 technical and research reports, feasibility studies and business plans; he holds multiple industry certifications; and earned engineering degrees from Texas A&M and the University of Texas.
