Randy Rhodes serves as a Technical Executive at the Electric Power Research Institute where he manages collaborative research projects with power utilities around the globe. Current research interests include developing digital twin frameworks for the electric distribution grid and applying canonical semantic models to support XR enterprise applications. Randy oversees Geospatial Informatics research funded by 14 utilities. His diverse career includes 12 years as a utility employee; 14 years in industry consulting; 7 years as a Gartner industry analyst and 8 years in the non-profit sector, including 4 years at EPRI.
