Anne Lord Bailey, PharmD, BCPS (Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist), is the Director for Clinical Tech Innovation and Immersive Technology Lead for VHA’s Office of Healthcare Innovation and Learning (OHIL). Dr. Bailey started her innovation journey as a resident at Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC. Specializing in treating Hepatitis C, Dr. Bailey explored alternatives to typical care delivery and developed a passion for patient-centered healthcare innovation. 

Joining OHIL in 2020, Dr. Bailey has been at the forefront of VHA’s exploration of emerging technologies, particularly immersive technology. Co-leading VHA’s Extended Reality (XR) networks, Dr. Bailey has joined experts in government, academia, and industry, while supporting the expansion of the XR Network from one facility to almost 160 VA facilities and engaging with more than 1,000 VA employees. Recently, Dr. Bailey was awarded 2022 G2Xchange Change Agent Award and, along with other OHIL Immersive Tech team members, was a recipient of the 2022 Service to the Citizen Award.
