After graduating from Bogazici University Electrical & Electronics Engineering department, Ugur Yekta Basak completed his Master's degree at Koc University. He focused on the optical design and simulation of head-mounted AR displays, computer vision, and human-computer interaction. He published articles in prestigious journals and conferences throughout his graduate studies.

Currently, he is responsible for the investor relations and sales operations as the CEO of ART Labs, the ultimate 3D & AR platform for eCommerce and metaverse that he started in 2019 with his co-founders.
