Carrie Valladares
Sr. Attorney Microsoft

Carrie Valladares is Senior Corporate Counsel at Microsoft, where she provides legal counsel to the team that is building and shipping the Microsoft Mesh product. She focuses on responsible AI in metaverses, biometrics and privacy issues, and works with both internal development teams and ecosystem partners on the design and implementation of Microsoft's metaverse platform. She is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, and was previously with K&L Gates. She lives in Seattle, WA with her husband, three sons and step-daughter, and enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking, and food preservation. She is also the co-founder and president of Escuela Adelante, a non-profit bilingual school in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua.
