Helen Freeman is Director of Oxford Children’s Books, leading the team that create inspirational reading and learning experiences for children. Her career has taken her around the world, working in trade and consumer publishing for almost 30 years. During this time she’s held senior leadership roles with prestigious children’s publishers, including working as Publishing Director at Scholastic Education and Associate VP of Global Product Development at Capstone Publishing. She is incredibly proud to work at Oxford University Press - a mission-driven organization, where she can devote her time to creating products that have a positive impact on the lives of learners. Helen lives in Royal Leamington Spa in the UK (it’s a real place!) with her husband and twin daughters. She’s excited to be working with Inception to discover the magic that happens when you blend XR with education.
