Michael Geidel is an award-winning producer of films, XR experiences and games for more than 15 years now, that were invited to renown festivals and conferences. He was invited to speak at GDC San Francisco, Gamescom, Quo Vadis, AWE Berlin, mipTV, Stereopsia, Festival de Cannes NEXT, Berlinale Talents etc. Michael contributed to various publications on the subjects of XR, gaming and sustainability and worked more than 10 years ago as analyst and researcher at a joint venture between the renown Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and the Film University Babelsberg on how new digital media formats can help understand and trigger change. He concepted and produced various games, films and XR experiences around this topic, mentored at Game Jams and received awards at hackathons. Michael is founder of Actrio Studio, focusing on innovation in tech and storytelling for XR esp for the topic of sustainability.
