Over the past decade, Petricore has bootstrapped its way to nearly $6 million in revenue working on exciting consulting projects with companies like Meta, Snap, and Bose, while developing original games, including Mythic Realms, our mixed reality RPG releasing in 2025.
In this talk, I’ll break down the key strategies for sustaining and growing an XR studio, covering how to find and secure work-for-hire projects, balance client work with original IP, hiring and retaining a great team, and structure the business for long-term success. I’ll share real-world examples, including how our approach to prototyping evolved to help secure funding for our games. The session will include actionable insights and ample time for Q&A.
