Arthur is a designer and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, California, specializing in architecture, software development and fashion design. He holds a Master's in Architecture from SCI-Arc, where was honored with a master's thesis award for developing a prototype of AURA, an innovative AR-based urban planning and geospatial analysis platform. AURA has since evolved into a broader initiative, bringing advanced spatial simulation, data visualization, and XR tools across various industries, with a growing team focused on integrating augmented reality into urban planning and infrastructure projects.
As a co-founder of Openended, a fashion brand working with 3D-printed jewelry and accessories, Arthur has helped launch nine products, including four necklaces and two handbags. He managed the technical design and production of the pieces, bringing concepts to life as wearable art objects. Openended recently won an award for high-tech wearables from the A+D Museum LA. , and we have been included in Harper’s Bazaar and featured in Glitch Magazine.
With experience in both large and small-scale architectural projects, Arthur has contributed as a lead designer and independent contractor. He was the project designer of a new hospital wing in Echo Park, securing full funding through a California Department of Health Services grant for $18 Million. He also led the design of the Cole Sternberg Gallery, an adaptive reuse project with a focus on sustainable construction and reclamation.
Currently, Arthur alsos serve as an architecture professor at LATTC, where I teach sustainable building systems, landscape design, and advanced design studios with a focus on digital innovation, including parametric modeling, 3D printing, and AI workflows. His design philosophy is rooted in seamlessly integrating human-made structures with natural systems, balancing aesthetic desires with the functional harmony of our environment.
